It’s Day 1 of the Self-Care Awareness Month 30 Day Challenge with Evolve To Live.
I have been waiting for weeks for this challenge to start and now it is here I can tell it is going to be so much fun.
Day 1 – Selfie time. Today we are sharing a picture of our beautiful selves. Here is mine! Although I am no any good at taking selfies, I am keen to practice at getting better as a self-love practice of being seen by myself and others. I have also taken a few lessons from my kids, so I hope this one is ok.
I have realised that the reason I do not feel my selfies are any good is because my arm stretched out is not very long and I always seem to take pictures that seem really close up. The solution for this is to use a selfie stick!! OMG!! I can’t believe that I will be using a selfie stick to feel empowered enough to take a decent photo of myself, but I do feel it might just work. I will let you know how I get on 😉
Anyway, today I felt brave enough as I shared a picture of myself on my Instagram profile, which took some courage. I can remember only a few short months ago taking selfies would of been totally out of the question for me, as it has taken a while for me to be comfortable with seeing pictures of myself.
During my illness I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror on bad days, let alone take a selfie to share it on the internet! So today I share with confidence a picture of my beautiful self.
